Sunday School

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Every Sunday morning, the Sr. High students meet in the Youth Room (aka Room #173) at 9:45 to discuss spiritual matters. Jr. High students meet in the Jr. High Room (#279 ) for the same.  It is a time for students to learn about God together and grow deeper in Him.

Our Sunday School runs off a six year program called Student Life Bible Study. In this curriculum we are able to explode the essential truths to the Christian faith over the six years from 7th to 12th grades.

There is no sign up or registration required. Simply show up and take part. For more information on what we are learning, please visit www.studentlifebiblestudy.com where you can view a sample lesson among other things.

Senior High (Water)

And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and the darkness he called "night." And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
- Genesis 1:2-5

Junior High (Fire)

Sunday is designed to ground your faith.  The curriculum takes you through the Bible twice in the 6 years through Jr. High & Sr. High.  Meets on Sunday mornings from 9:45 to 10:45 in the Jr. High room (279).

This year's topic is Consecration.

It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he now showed them the full extent of his love.
- John 13:1
